The Metapong serie is an attempt to transgress the playing mechanics of the ping-pong game by creating a hybridization between the inert table of sport and mechanical systems specific to the world of factories and work. So the Metapong series is a kind of social laboratory where we analyze what changes in the behavior of the player when we animate or give a beahavior to some part of the game. Metapong XP2 is a ping-pong table equipped with a net with two motorized axes. So during your game you can play sometime with a 50 cm high net or only a few centimeters. But the table will also have fun at times desynchronizing the axes by offering you the possibility of playing with a diagonal net.
